Dr. Carmichael has been practicing in the nursing field for over 20 years. With her background in psychiatric nursing along with over 19 years experience in the pharmaceutical research industry, simultaneous studies in Metaphysics, Divinity, and Holistic Health have given her a well-rounded perspective on health and healing and its intimate relationship to spirituality.

She was Ordained an Interfaith Minister in December 2002, and continues to deepen her understanding and experience of these topics with continuing education through The Chopra Center in Carlsbad, California under the inspired direction of Doctors Deepak Chopra and David Simon.

She has been a guest on radio talk shows and writes about spirituality as it relates to health and well-being in addition to various topics on prevention and complementary medicine.
